[ 메디채널 김장윤(JASON KIM) 기자 ] 도쿄 2025년 8월 5일 -- 문화 교류 프로그램인 '일본 유치원 교환 프로그램(Japan Preschool Exchange, JPE)이 전 세계 가족을 대상으로 일본의 실제 유치원 생활을 경험할 기회를 제공한다. 일본어 지식이 없어도 참여할 수 있으며, 참가자들은 1주~3주간 눈놀이부터 벼농사까지 자연과 가까운 지역 사회에서 다양한 활동을 체험할 수 있다. JPE는 일본 전역의 전국 30개 이상의 유치원과 제휴하여 지역 지속 가능성에 기여하면서 참가자들에게 잊을 수 없는 경험을 제공한다. 2021년 출범 이후 지금까지 1000명 이상의 참가자가 참여했으며, 그중 95%가 재참여 의사를 밝혔다. 이 프로그램은 정부 기관으로부터 여러 차례 상을 받기도 했다. 창립자인 야마모토 마사야(Masaya Yamamoto) 대표는 딸과 함께 홋카이도의 시골 유치원에서 머문 경험을 계기로 이 프로그램을 시작했다.
