로토부스트, 세계 최대 철강사 바오우와 협력해 천연가스 분해 기반 녹색 철강 산업화 추진

[ 메디채널 황정호 기자 ] 상하이 2025년 11월2일 -- 핀란드의 로토부스트(ROTOBOOST)와 바오우 클린에너지(Baowu Clean Energy)가 10월 21일 비즈니스 핀란드(Business Finland, BF)와 중국 과학기술부(Ministry of Science and Technology of China, MOST)의 공동 혁신 프로그램(Joint Innovation Call)에 따른 중국–핀란드 협력 프로젝트를 출범했다. 이 프로그램은 철강과 알루미늄 산업의 탈탄소화를 목표로 열촉매 분해(TCD) 기술을 활용해 저탄소 수소와 고품질 고체 탄소를 생산한다. 이 두 산업은 전 세계에서 가장 에너지 집약적이면서 이산화탄소 집약적인 분야로 꼽힌다. 의의 철강과 알루미늄은 산업의 근간이지만, 감축이 어려운 산업군에 속한다. 이번 파트너십은 바오우 공정 리더십과 로토부스트의 TUV SUD 인증 TCD 플랫폼을 결합해, 현장 수소 생산과 고체 탄소 수익화를 동시에 실현한다. 이를 통해 경제성을 확보하면서 온실가스 배출을 획기적으로 절감할 수 있다. 기술 정보 로토부스
