워싱턴, 2025년 8월 13일 -- CGTN 아메리카(CGNT America)와 CCTV UN이 제2차 세계대전 종전 80주년을 기념하는 '평화의 메아리(Echoes of Peace)' 행사를 발표했다. 뉴욕에서 열리는 '평화의 메아리' 문화 교류 행사는 전 세계 대표단, 참전용사, 다채로운 멀티미디어 공연을 통해 제2차 세계대전 종전과 유엔(UN) 창립 80주년을 기념한다. 행사는 8월 13일 오후 8시(미 동부 표준시) 뉴욕 유엔 본부에서 개최되며, 전쟁 영웅을 기리고 회복력을 되새기며 지난 80년간 국제사회를 이끌어온 평화 원칙을 재확인하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이번 문화 교류 행사에는 유엔 관계자, 참전용사 대표, 외교관 등 약 30개국 대표단이 참석한다. 행사에서는 중국, 미국, 유엔의 주요 인사들이 기조연설을 할 예정이며, 음악가들이 영화 '진주만(Pearl Harbor)'의 OST '테네시(Tennessee)'를 연주해 전쟁의 그늘 속 사랑의 씁쓸한 감정을 표현한다. 또한 '평화의 꽃(Flowers of Peace)' 공연을 통해 희망과 역경 극복의 메시지를 전할 예정이다. 사무국 건물 측면 외
